Hi, I’m Virangya . I am a seasoned full-stack developer with over 15 years of experience, primarily focused on Python & PHP development. Over the years, I have specialized in building robust and dynamic web solutions tailored to the unique needs of various industries, always focusing on delivering exceptional functionality and user experience.

My journey began with PHP, where I developed custom websites, progressive web apps, and CMS components for popular platforms like WordPress, Joomla, PrestaShop, and BigCommerce. I have not only created bespoke CMS components but also fixed bugs in pre-existing ones, ensuring seamless functionality. My expertise extended to developing a standalone CMS for a renowned company in New Zealand, which gained international recognition.

In addition to PHP, I ventured into ASP.NET C# with Entity Framework MVC, creating several web applications. My work on the "Sri Lanka Innovation Dashboard", built using a JavaScript-based language, won the prestigious E-Swabimani award, showcasing my adaptability and skill in new technologies.

In recent years, my focus remained on PHP, during which I developed a Management Information System (MIS) and various applications for the university I am currently affiliated with. I have worked extensively with databases, writing complex queries to support robust data management and analytics.

In 2023, I discovered a passion for Python, diving into automation, web development, and web scraping. Python’s versatility and efficiency have allowed me to create gaming apps, automation tools, and websites with ease. Although I have many years of PHP development experience, I am now focusing extensively on Python projects, which I find particularly exciting.
